Terms of Service

Definitions

The following terms are defined as follows:

• "Software" refers to the ransomware monitoring software "rakko" provided by the Company.
• "Service" refers to the web services related to downloading, license registration, license management, and plan changes for the Software.
• "User" refers to any individual or corporation using the Service.
• "License Key" refers to a unique string issued to authenticate the use of the Software.

Account Management

• Users are responsible for properly managing their registered email address and password.
• Transferring, lending, or sharing your email address or password with third parties is prohibited.
• The Company shall not be liable for any damages arising from unauthorized use of a user's email address or password by a third party.
• If you forget your password, please access the login page via the URL included in your registration email to reset it.

Grant of License

• The Company grants users a license to use the Software in accordance with these Terms and the Software License Agreement.
• A Free Plan license key will be issued immediately upon email registration.
• Standard Plan and Enterprise Plan license keys are issued upon registration and become active after payment has been confirmed.
• Licenses are perpetual and have no expiration date unless otherwise specified by the Company.

Plans and Pricing

• Pricing for each plan is as stated on the Software's product page.
• All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes.
• Available plans are the Free Plan, Standard Plan, and Enterprise Plan.
• Plans can only be upgraded to a higher tier. Downgrading is not available.
• When changing plans, the user must pay the difference between the current plan and the new plan.

Payment

• Payment methods available are credit card or bank transfer.
• Bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the user.
• Credit card payments are processed through our payment processor.
• Cancellations and refunds after license activation are not accepted.

License Key Activation

• Free Plan license keys are activated immediately upon registration.
• Paid plan license keys are activated after payment is confirmed.
• For bank transfers, payment confirmation may take several business days.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Due to the nature of software licenses, cancellations and refunds are not accepted after license activation. Please try the Free Plan before purchasing.

Prohibited Activities

Users must not engage in any of the following activities:

• Using the Service for unauthorized or illegal purposes.
• Actions that cause damage to other users or third parties.
• Placing excessive load on the Company's servers or network.
• Interfering with the operation of the Service.
• Transferring, selling, or sharing a license key with third parties without prior consent from the Company.
• Any action that violates applicable laws or public policy.

Changes and Suspension of Service

• The Company may change or suspend the Service without prior notice.
• The Company shall not be liable for any damages to users arising from changes or suspension of the Service.

Disclaimer

• The Service is provided "as is."
• The Company shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the Service.

Handling of Personal Information

Changes to These Terms

The Company may amend these Terms as necessary. Amendments shall take effect upon notification or publication by a method deemed appropriate by the Company.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

• These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
• Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Sendai District Court as the court of first instance.
